Francis Hobbs

Francis is the Director of Third Sector programmes.  Following a highly successful career in the military for over 20 years he has more recently held senior executive positions in a range of charitable and commercial ventures. He has the motivation, natural leadership skills and relevant experience to drive forward Third Sector programmes. His particular skills are:

  • Management of fund generation programmes for the Third Sector
  • Creating, leading and supporting management teams and volunteer groups through adoption of change culture
  • Identifying and scopying new product and market opportunities
  • Intellectual property protection

His experience comes from:

  • Sandhurst Foundation Development Director - Created and established a charitable alumni organisation seeking to promote improved leadership standards across society.
  • Kingston University, Business Creation Development Director -Development of a commercialisation programme specifically for Kingston University staff to gain 'buy in' from staff and senior management.
  • Countryside Alliance 'Liberty and Livelihood March', Principal Executive Officer -Planned, brought together and enthused a volunteer group to produce a safe, effective and imaginative civil march with over 400,000 participants
